Clean, low mileage, 2 owner, maintained 280 SEL 4.5 liter.
Purchased new in Monterey in October 1972. Last year of the W 108 body style.
Comes with maintenance booklet and
original owner's registration card.
Current on all recommended maintenance and repairs. Starts and runs beautifully.
Recent documented maintenance (July - September 2021):
New and Installed:
Steering Gearbox Seal, lower and high pressure power steering hoses and coupling.
Front and rear brake pads.
Remove and and reseal right rear axle.
4 new BFG tires with brand new spare set of 3 inch white walls included (in box).
Refurbished original Europa stereo.
Oil/filter change.
This car was put on a lift, and has no rust to the underside or frame. A few rust spots do exist in limited normal places on the rockers and rear pillars.
This is an excellent restoration candidate.
It's 99% original and 99% complete as is. Exterior White on yellow two tone original paint.
Interior Coffee interior with minimal wear.
