Vehicle Details

1940 Ford Deluxe Coupe. All steel body. Has been completely restored. It now sits on a Total Cost Involved frame. Has adjustable coil over shocks front and back. Disc brakes up front. Four link suspension in rear with independent in the front. Engine is a Ford 393 cubic inch stroker. Transmission is a Ford AOD connected to a Ford 9 inch rear. Body was taken off original frame, put on a rotisserie and media blasted. Body had very little rust which was addressed by cutting out and repairing properly. Body is painted with Ford lead foot gray paint. Car has Vintage Air a/c, Vintage Air Front Runner serpentine belt system, Classic Instruments gauges, blue tooth stereo with amp, and power windows. The original speaker grill is hinged. Behind it are the a/c and radio controls. Ash trays were removed from dash and replaced with a/c vents. The running boards are new. They are Ford licensed product which consist of real rubber vulcanized to steel. Under the car on the exhaust system are a set of electric cut outs. The engine has enough cam to really sound good but not overdone. When closed, exhaust is not loud. Car runs and drives great and gets a lot of attention. Car was finished about a year ago and has been shown a few times. It has won a Best Ford, Best in Class, and Best of Show awards. Car is for sale locally so auction could end early. No Returns.
