This auction is for my 1958 BN 4 Austin Healey. requiring complete restoration. I am selling this as I have too many projects. I recently repatriated this car from the United States. The car is basically complete and is as follows: The chassis needs some repairs. but not requiring new sections. It appears straight and is generally solid. The floor pans and boot floor need to be cut out and renewed with new panels. The engine bay has surface rust but otherwise in superb condition. The wings and doors need repair panels. but are generally good. The front and rear aluminium aprons have dents but are repairable. Suspension and steering are complete but will need new bushes etc. I suspect the engine will require a rebuild and I have mislaid the carbs but I would clean up and try the overdrive gearbox. A complete interior and hood will be required. but these are reasonably priced and will give the car the desired look! Inspection is recommended and please ask if you have any questions.
There is a lot of work required but there is a lot of car there. If you feel a bit daunted by the task and feel there is any aspect of the restoration that you would not be confident of doing yourself(such as bodywork or painting). I would be able to help or put you in the right direction to get this done at an agreed cost. Payment is cash on collection with a £200. 00 deposit payable immediately the auction ends.
