This is a NO RESERVE auction, there is no buy it now price. It takes time, money and effort to post on here, so serious buyers only  please! Only bid if you fully intend to close the deal at the end of the auction.  If you are the highest bidder at the end, you bought it!This  is a running, driving scout that has some good options and features, including the  345 v-8 with  new 2 bbl electric choke carburetor,  It has a  727 3 speed auto transmission, 3.73 axle  gears.   Removable top with roof rack, power  steering,  4 wheel drive with locking hubs, power brakes,  Once had A/C, but just about all of it is removed now. It has wide wagon wheels with new cooper 33x12.5 inch tires  with less than 2 miles on them. The scout looks to be lifted approximately 3 to 5 inches.  The truck also has a  new  gas tank, new electric fuel pump, some fuel lines, and accelerator cable. The front  bucket seats and rear bench have been reupholstered in black vinyl with custom embroidery and piping.  The carpet is new, it  has  new door seals and windshield to top seal recently installed. Steering column has a new lock cylinder/key and turn signal switch.   Truck has a new windshield,  a new windshield seal, and wiper blades just installed. The brake system has a new master,  front  and rear slave cylinders, new front  and rear soft lines, new brake shoes front and rear, not even broken in yet.Custom front and rear diamond plate bumpers were installed at some point, along with a receiver hitch.  A bright off road light was recently installed along with new tail light lenses. The body is in good condition in my opinion,  no rot or major damage found, a few dings/imperfections here and there.I found 1 small patch in the bed area, and none on the front floor sections. Truck was originally mustard yellow, PO painted it orange and added stripes. Being in North Texas, off the road and away from salted roads probably contributed to it's  solid structural condition. The engine  starts right up, not too loud, new plug wires/ plugs, air and fuel filter were just installed. It was last registered  in the 1980's! and has not been driven much/far/fast since. Odometer is showing something like 20k miles. I have no paperwork to confirm if original or not, but it must be pretty low for sitting that long. This truck is almost 50 years old, and may  need some adjusting/finishing/tinkering, A good once over, if you will! The tires will rub the leaf springs if turned all the way to maximum lock, a set of spacers or different offset wheels would be the remedy. The  cassette player/radio probably does not work. passenger side seat belt retractor is in-op, so is the emergency brake and horn. It's missing jack/handle/tire iron.  It is not perfect, not a show truck, and it is not a new Toyota,  but will get plenty of attention and would make a great  toy! You are bidding to OWN the scout, not the right of first refusal! If you are the high bidder at the end of the auction, you bought it!    Therefore the $300 deposit through Paypal is due at the end of the auction and is not refundable. You are welcome to ask questions or set up a time to come see it  before the auction ends and I will do my best to accommodate you.   Make sure you have the funds and the blessing from any significant other before bidding!   Be sure to note that the buyer is responsible for shipping. Fresh Texas Title in hand. Thanks for looking!
