1984 MERCEDES-BENZ R 107 500 SL
This iconic r 107 has recently been purchased by us. A fantastic example that has had only 4 owners from new and been in the hands of the last owner for almost 30 years in total. 124000 miles from new with a huge folder full of history.
Aswell as keeping it in very good mechanical condition the last owner has done a stellar job of protecting the vehicle from corrosion also, the inner wings, chassis and full underside of the car have been preserved with oil. We have since cleaned all of this and the vehicle will be supplied with a full professional waxoyl coating to the underside and inner wheel arches also. The body is in excellent overall condition as is all the chrome exterior trim. It also has both its hard and soft tops present.
Inside the vehicle still has all its
original carpets and it is devoid of any of the usual issues these cars have such as distorted door cards, cracks in the dashboard, de lamination on the wooden veneers and everything works! It really is a very genuine example indeed.
This an extremely well priced 500 sl that you could literally go anywhere in! We will be giving the car a major service prior to delivery including all new filters and a full transmission system flush aswell as anything else we deem necessary.
