1960 Volkswagen Beetle. Very nice and hard to find car. Older custom 2 tone black and white lacquer repaint can see pictured in one spot where there is spider webbing starting to show. Car originally came Artic Blue. Body is in fantastic shape with 99% no rust and still has most of the original undercoating. There is one small pin hole in floor board and few small bubbles on drivers door corner both pictured. Other than that there are a few nicks, chips and dings in the paint. This vehicle has spent most of its life out west first in Washington, Colorado and then California where it spent the majority of its life until a few years ago. Car has been meticulously documented since new in 1960 even including original purchase order from Seattle Washington, along with a 3" folder full of receipts and documents about the car. Also including original owners manual, maintenance log and shop manuals. Roof rack was purchased new in 1961 for $12.50, wood has aged but has recently been refinished. Motor has been upgraded from the original 1300cc to a 1600cc only 15k miles ago. Car runs great recently have gone through fuel system with new lines, new fuel pump, and gas done and sealed with rust preventive sealer. Interior is good but could use some freshening up with carpet and headliner. Headliner has a few stains pictured. Included are some new parts that haven't been installed yet, exterior door handles, front door panels and few other small parts. Needs a few other small cosmetic fixes for it to be a perfect car or keep it as is for a great driver and cruise in car.Feel free to ask any question or come see the car in person.
