A Genuine VW Golf Mk1 Rivage

VW Golf Rivage Mk1 Gti Cabriolet 1991.

Green with Cream Leather interior. a rare colour with only around 250 having ever been manufactured.

Nice original car. original paint and original black mohair hood.

Drives well. engine pulls well. gears are nice and smooth.

Comes with a grey VW wallet with instruction booklet. service history record stamped up to 75306 miles and then further details kept of subsequent services.

Cream carpet with the 4 x original cream overmats and 4 x original VW rubber overmats

'birth' certificate from VW stating build dates. options. colours. actual shipping day etc.

Below is a list of things done on the car within the last 5000 miles (24 months)

Top mounts replaced
4 x New 195 x 50 x 15 Continental tyres fitted
New front discs and pads (the car brakes well)
New cam belt
New fan belt
New oil and filter
New gearbox oil
Two new (hella) headlights
New clutch cable
New top radiator hose (VW replacement)

This car has a large file of paperwork. lots of past mot's. parts receipts etc.

VW windbreak fitted (roller type) that attaches to the rollbar and a front eye brow spoiler which is colour coded to the body colour.

Fuel filler neck and surround was replaced prior to my ownership and looks to be stainless steel.

Sills are all good. Arches. Inner arches (FRONT AND REAR) are all good. Front and Rear panels (The bits under the bumpers) are all good.

The bodywork is overall great condition. but being picky there's a small dent on the bonnet and passenger door. a scratch by the aerial and some minor scuffing on the bumper corners. A small tear in the original headlining. Under the front window there are two small rust spots (no holes).

Any questions please ask. but Please. no more dreamers. tyre kickers or wasters. this is a nice car and deserves to go to a genuine enthusiast.

Great to see the car is still original, Awesome. I sold back in 2010 with much reluctance due to emigrating down under. Wish i shipped it. No doubt will give many more miles & years of VW pleasure. All the best to the new owner.

I own this Rivage It’s been in dry storage since 2014 in my ownership It does approximately 1000 summer miles a year, drove it around France in 2019 didn’t miss a beat it’s now done 101k . 24/11/2020
