ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL 1987 VINTAGE MERCEDES SL 560 HARD & SOFT TOP CONVERTIBLE. IN IMMACULATE CONDITION.
Brilliant white. with white hard top. black soft top. red leather and wood interior.
Left hand drive.
My wife says:
Buy this for someone truly special for Xmas (or yourself!) it's got VERY low mileage (only 45. 00 miles from new). rarely used. but very very loved.
I bought this in 2001 after my mother died & left me some money with the instruction to "Go and buy yourself a fabulous Sports Car".
So I did.
It was 'Show Roomed' in a Mercedes Showroom in Sarasota Fl.
It was allegedly the car used in the TV Series Hart to Hart. driven by 'Jennifer Hart' (Stephanie Power) on set.
It was then bought by a wealthy businessman as a present for his wife. but I suspect she didn't ever learn how to drive. other than to & fro to their house mailbox!!
It came with me when I went to live in Texas. so you can have the Texas Plate as well - obviously it now has British Plates.
It came with me back to UK when I returned here in 2007 it's always been a ‘second car' for us. and whilst it's been maintained. it's actually been off the road since 2008.
