1970 Plymouth Duster 318 ci Auto
Testing the water, not in any rush to sell but I've got my eye on something else Swaps considered, but nothing modern, or a motorbike. I've owned the car just over two years, in the last 18 months or so its had Rebuilt 318 motor with 360 heads, all new bearings, rings, seals etc. Fully rebuilt Transmission by Nutty Professor. Reconditoned Torque converter New Summit Racing 4 barrel Carb. New Aluminium Radiator New Manual Steering box Front brakes upgraded to Discs Rebuilt rear brakes. Engine/front end wiring loom, factory style.
Full exhaust system with Hooker headers. B&M Floor Shifter Brand new BF Goodrich Radial Tyres. Dash Pad replaced. Ignition Switch
Originally 225 ci Slant 6 3 speed.
Prior to getting the car, it had the floors rust repaired and the rear wheels banded and a modern stereo fitted.
Interior is good overal, the odd bit of damaged trim and headline coming away in one spot due to age. Glass all good, all the chrome and trim is in good shape.
Paintwork is not pristime by any means. Looks like it was a cheap job done sometime in the past 20 years, the odd mark and chip here and there with a couple of spots bubbling up towards the bottom sill.
Bits that need sorting.. Needs a speedo cable, the last one melted on the header. Tail lights arent working for some reason, they were until recently, brakes and indicator lights are fine. Theres a slight oil leak, despite new seals on the engine. I'll try to resolve as many of these as I can.
Dusters are only going up in price! you'd be lucky to find one in america for this price now.
