Here we have a stunning and rare 1980 Porsche 911 SC Weissach Edition Coupe with 53,358 original miles on the odometer. This car is finished in Platinum Metallic and has the really beautiful Doric Grey interior with her exceptional offsetting Burgundy rugs and piping. Half these cars were painted Metallic Black, the other half in Platinum Metallic. They had special 15" Fuchs wheels which were painted Platinum Metallic.

A Weissach's most noticeable attributes included a standard SC body, flexible chin spoiler on the front air dam and the early Turbo Carrera style rear "Whale Tail" spoiler. There were 408 Weissach Edition cars produced for the US market in 1980 as a testament to Porsche's Motorsport team housed in Weissach, Germany. This car is one of 200 in Platinum Metallic and it is estimated that there might be in the region of 150 total cars remaining today of those 87 or so are the Platinum Metallic cars and the remainder are the cars finished in Black Metallic.
