This is a great example of a 1970 Mercedes-Benz 280 SL. It has a little over 103,000 miles. I'm the third owner (the second owner bought it to flip and never drove it), and I've had it for 23 years - I've never driven it in snow, or even rain (OCD much?). Mercedes of this vintage have a 14-digit VIN (this one is 6031), so Ebay won't do the Carfax check. The car was recently fitted with a new soft top, new front tires and new windshield. The hard top is included, as is a hard top winch/storage system. Everything on the car works as expected - except the clock. There's surface corrosion on the underside, and if I was restoring the car, I'd replace the rocker panels - there's some rust-through under the car. There's no visible rust. The car always starts and runs smoothly. I even have the toolkit. Maintenance and repairs have been done by Ted Gottfried of Hudson, OH. I can provide maintenance records and additional photos.
