Rover P2 2 Door Coupe 1939 Built car - Registered early 1940Fantastic patina bodywork - I would say it's largely original paint! Incredible given its 80+ years old! Personally I think it wants preserving rather than restoring. Runs and drives - is running off a separate fuel source as the tank needs cleaning. Engine sound sweet and doesn't smoke but probably wants a good service. Clutch and all gears engage ok. Brakes work   (mechanical) Chassis seems solid, body does require some welding to sill sections and if you want to make a super shiny restored car some of the wings would need minor repair but the doors open and shut nicely as does the bootlid. Fabulous period centre mounted front spot lamp. The sunroof panel I have removed as it needs recovering but is is included, also includes some other sunroof panels from a rover 10 saloon. there is also 3 more wheel hub caps and some old carpet and trim in the boot.I have the current V5 and some other old paper work for it.Any questions please ask, I have some more photos that I can forward to anyone seriously interested I have a couple of really good guys who can transport the car anywhere in the U.K. if required- ask me for a quote if you would like to use this service.Cash on collection please from near Evesham , Worcestershire (or cleared bank transfer payment)
