Cars ARE ONLY ORIGINAL ONCE which makes this rare Kaiser a great find.  Take a look at the pictures to see the original interior and how amazing it still is for a 75 year old car!  The first owner purchased the car in PA and shortly thereafter covered the seats with the plastic covers that are still on keeping the original material in amazing condition.  Headliner is original as are the door panels and of course they show their age with stains here and there as well as a couple of holes in the headliner.  Original steering wheel, dash, gauges, glove box, radio, windows, floor coverings, etc are in really good condition.  All glass is intact and all windows roll up and down.  Gauges work as does the speedometer/odometer.  The first owner moved to AZ a long time ago and the car then belonged to his son after he passed.  The second owner purchased it and drove it to shows and on weekends for 6 years.  I then acquired it and drove it occasionally as "advertisement" for a business.  I even drove it from Phoenix to Prescott (a 4000 feet elevation difference and over 100 miles) and back and it runs really well (you won't win any races however).  It runs, shift and stops well.  I had the carburator and distributor professionally rebuilt and added an electric (6 volt of course) fuel pump to augment the mechanical pump.  The car has a newer (2020) 6 volt battery and even sports it's original oil bath air cleaner.  The car is on the Kaiser registry (see line 68) and originally came in the Airway Blue (Code 111) paint and at some point in it's life it was painted the 1947 Kaiser color Teal Blue (code 171) and it really stands out.  The owner had most, if not all, options that would come standard on the Custom models to include Sun Visor, traffic light viewer, heater/defrost, radio and antena, fog lights, spot light and back-up light, bumper guards front and back as well as outside rear view mirror. The iginition wire is getting a little finicky and has to be "just so" for the gauges to work so I wired the distributor directly to a toggle switch under the dash so it gets constant power when the switch is on.The car looks very good but please don't expect perfection in any way.  It is being sold "as-is" "where-is" with no warranty expressed or implied.  I will hold on to the car in my garage until the new owner can make arrangements to have it picked up.  I drove it as an advertisement for a business but drive my 1967 GTO and 1950 Oldsmobile Rocket 88 much more so do not need this many cars.  I do have a clean AZ  title in my name showing 51xxx Box A (original) miles. Please do not bid unless you intend to go through with the purchase as this wastes my time and money as well as the ability for real buyers to own the car.  The reserve is set very low and you may reach out via email or call at 6023177797 if you would like more pictures or have questions.A $1000 non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of the end of the auction with full payment due 3 days after end of listing.  The vehicle will not leave my possession until I have cash in hand or your wire transfer or cashier's check has cleared.
