Vehicle Details
This is a 1956 Cadillac convertible which is very rare. I belive it's called model 60 or 62. It has been in the shop for the last 18 months for total restoration. Engine has been changed to a Chevy 350 and has all brand new components including new cylinders and cam and all other internal parts. Engine has been refurbished to new condition including boring etc.... Front Brakes are updated to disc and booster/master cylinder has been updated to a professional brand name booster. The engine is painted red with all chrome and polished goodies such as a polished metal carburator (also brand name). Brand new full electrical system has replaced all the electricals from before so all new wiring everywhere, Transmission, Ulternator, exhaust system, gas tank, carpets, carburetor, ignition, Radiator, Fuel system, hoses, intake, alternator, starter, battery, installed seat belts and much more. Undercoating has been applied with all necessary repairs for underpinning and complete rust elimination under the car with some special spray at the end to make it so that it would resist rusting in the future. Convertible pistons have been changed as well as several window glasses. Convertible fabric top is still in good condition but is now very dirty and needs to be cleaned. I will sell it as is and there is no warranty. Lots of spare parts in the trunk. You will need to paint it and rechrome the bumpers. I did most of the mechanical work but as you know old cars always need something. White-wall Tires are in great condition since I haven't driven it more than a few miles. It's sitting in a garage for the time being and I installed a battery disconnector so that the battery doesn't die. I have spent over 40000 dollars to replace and fix everything stated. It's a great opportunity to own a piece of history and drive around with the convertible down. The first pictures are from when I bought it and since it was sitting outsite of the shop for almost two years it doesn't look as pretty any more. The last set of pictures with the trees in the background are from a few days ago. I do have a video of it being on but Ebay doesn't let us post videos. I suggest a nice firetruck red paint to make it pop and steam clean the convertable top as well as the vinal seats. This is very a very hard to find vehicle. Payment will have to be cashier check or money order and once it is cashed you can set up a pick up. If you want to pay by Escrow.com please keep in mind that there will be no refunds or returns once the vehicle has been delivered to you. We are a professional Ebay seller with over 100000 feedbacks so you can buy with confidence. We have listed all details to best of our knowledge and are not responsible for anything else once you receive the vehicle. What you see is what you get. As you can see in the last pictures, the back plastic convertable window is sun damaged so you might want to either change it or use chemicals to restore it. If you are familiar with old cars or have a friend or family who knows vintage cars you will have years of fun with this car not to mention that the value of these rare cars always go up. The milage shows around 60000 or so but is not accurate since the engine has been swaped and the cable is not connected any more. There will be no returns nor refunds under any circumstances and this car is sold as is. Images
