ONLY 23000 MILES £9,995.00 Make Triumph Model HERALD 13/60 Transmission Manual Fuel Petrol Engine Size 1,296 ccm Mileage 23,000 Miles Emission class-- This amazing example of a Triumph Herald 13/ 60 Convertible has an interesting history. It was first registered 1 st September 1969 and then sent to the British High Commission in British Guyana were it was used from 1969 to 1971. It was driven in Guyana by a Mr. Green who returned to the UK with the car in 1971. He kept the car in Hampshire for a further 25 years until 1996. After 4 years in Yorkshire in returned to Hove in Sussex in 2001 and has stayed there since. The history file has petrol receipts and service stamps from Guyana, original service book with stamps, 45 old tax discs, 26 old MOT's and invoices going back to 1972 which together prove the incredibly low mileage of only 23, 000 miles. The car is in outstanding condition and finished in the original Royal Blue (colour 56). The interior is superb and very original with the addition of a Moto Lita style wooden rimmed steering wheel and a modern sound system with electric aerial. The car drives just like a 23, 000 mile car should. It is smooth to drive with everything working as it should. We have just fitted a new set of tyres and overhauled the braking system with new calipers and pads.
