1987 Jeep Grand Wagoneer 4 dr Station Wagon 4 x 4 8-cyl. 360 cid/144 hp 2 bbl Number Produced: 14,265 When the new downsized Cherokee was introduced in 1984, its top end model was actually renamed the Wagoneer. That didn't signal the end of the 1963 era body, though. If anything, it was given a new lease on life in the form of the top-of-the-line Jeep Grand Wagoneer, which became the America's first dedicated luxury SUV. That year also saw some minor trim tuck and nip that saw the original wrap-around tail lights become rectangular. It also saw a six-cylinder, the robust 4.2-liter AMC unit, return as the base engine, and a 360 cubic inch V-8 was optional. For 1987, the V-8 was so popular that the six was dropped. By the end of production in 1991, the Grand Wagoneer had set the bar for luxury SUVs, including the ones from imported and domestic luxury brands.Freshly serviced and inspected including:New battery, tires, radiator. Colorodo rust free example. Straight solid frame. Pictures really show how great she is underneath.Exterior is Burgundy/Wood. Definitely not a showroom finish but need closer inspection to see the requisite paint chips, dings, scratches, etc. Rust spots highlighted in photos. All which is really great when considering the age of the vehicle.Leather interior is clean and shows minimal wear. Above average, again, especially when considering the age of the vehicle.All Power Options function as should including the notoriously fickle rear window.The 5.9 V 8 OHV 16 V runs smooth, quiet, and is very responsive. Other than the usual seepage, no concerning leaks.Transmission shifts smooth. 4 WD operates is it should. Differential functions correctly although indicator does continue to show 4 wheel when in 2 wd.Wagoneer operates cool at proper temperature with out overheating.Brakes are responsive, power steering and handling operating correctly with no issues. Air conditioning system has all components intact blows air but may need a recharge to blow cooler.

Factory wheels in above average conditions. Some curb rash in spots.No check engine or warning lights.Wagoneer comes with multiple keys.
