1987 Suzuki Samurai

1987.5 Suzuki Samurai Tintop 4X4-8" Suspension lift. FOX Shocks-New 33x13.5" Super Swamper Tires (under 500 miles).-Rebuilt 1.3 Motor (about 4k miles) with welded Weber carburetor and power steering upgrade.-Transfer Case regeared for Low Range.-Zor "super snatch" Transfer Case cradle mount (secures the T case to the frame 10x stronger than the factory bolts and adds bushings to absorb shock from the drivetrain which makes for less vibration in the cab)-Dr. Z bulletproof Transmission Mount.-Trail Tough Drive Shaft Disconnect (allows for quick detach of rear driveshaft, a must-have for flat towing. Also allows for turning in place by engaging only the front wheels).-Trail Tough Knuckle Over steering linkage.-New Petroworks Clutch and Flywheel (the best available for Samurais)-Heavy duty tow bar with 4 Flat trailer harness plug (allows you to plug the Samurai into the tow vehicles lighting harness when flat towing. In-line diodes installed to prevent overload or feedback from Samurai's electrical system).-Dual batteries wired in parallel.-LED headlights, light bar, and rear flood lights.-New Timken seal/wheel bearings installed on front passenger side (I never use cheap parts). I have the parts for the driver's side that will be included but the bearings on that side are still good for now.-New Magnaflow exhaust system.-New Fox 2.0 shocks all around.-All fluids (oil, coolant, brake fluid, transmission/transfer case fluid, gear oil) changed in last 3 months.-Gas tank drained and cleaned last month.-Custom heavy duty front bumper with recently rebuilt Ramsey Winch. New 100 foot cable, fairlead roller and hook.-Custom roll cage with roof rack, nerf bars, and good condition spare tire.-Custom rear basket with anti-wobble bar (will hold some serious weight).-Rhino lined floors and rollbar/rack.-Freshly shampooed seats.I'm sure there's more I'm forgetting. This has been a fun project to build and even more fun to wheel in but unfortunately I'm at a point where I need to clear some stuff out.This rig is in great shape and is ready to drive away. Passes inspection no problem and has fresh registration good through 7/2022. Everything works and by that I mean EVERYTHING. All lights, gauges, locks, windows, latches, seatbelts etc. work flawlessly. The motor fires right up and runs like a top. It is geared low for offroading so it's not great on the highway but does just fine cruising around town. Offroad you will not believe how good this rig is. I had always heard how unstoppable Samurais were before I owned this one and it definitely exceeded my already high expectations. It will climb over or go through anything you can throw at it, no exaggeration. And with the Fox 2.0 shocks it's like riding on a cloud.The tow bar setup allows you to quickly hook it up to a tow vehicle and take it anywhere. It takes all of about 5 minutes to get it hooked up (transmission in N, transfer case in N, pull the in-cab driveshaft disconnect lever, turn the key half way to unlock the steering wheel, drop the tow bar on your hitch ball and plug in the harness and it will follow you anywhere). I pulled it like this behind an F-150 all the way to Colorado and hardly even noticed it. Will pull 75 MPH with no swaying or wobbling and is actually smoother than any trailer I've pulled. Whether you're heading to the beach, mountains, or desert, you will have 100% more fun with the Samurai in tow.Located in Central Austin. Clean blue title in my name.
