Welcome to the sale of my Austin A 40 MK 11. Positive points:New unleaded engine (still running in) and clutch New fuel pump New battery Spin off oil filter Electronic ignition Reconditioned steering box (to address MOT advisory 'slight play in steering')Four as new Enduro tyres plus good spare New brake shoes Original cills and floors. Underside in good condition Original rubber mats complete and in good condition Good roof lining and general interior Brake master cylinder and slave cylinder rubbers renewed Negative points:Bumpers could do with re-chroming and the hubcaps too The paintwork has orange peel effect in places and could be improved with cutting and polishing Regarding the mileage, it is best to assume that it has been round the clock and should read 111,411 miles.It passed its MOT a couple of months ago with just the one advisory regarding play in steering, which has now been addressed. The engine runs very sweetly and it seems to drive very well now. I am a member of the A 40 Farina Club as was the previous owner.
