1994 Pontiac Firebird Manual V6 for sale
Current customer rating:
For sale is my 1994 Pontiac Firebird with the V 6 and a manual transmission, power windows and some other options. The AC doesn't work (haven't looked into it, it may just need to be re-gased). The car runs and drives fine for its age,
MOT is till May 2022.
I didn't notice any visible rust anywhere on the body as its mostly fiberglass, but the metal underneath looks good as well (It was a originally a Florida car). Ideally, it could do with a new paint job as there are some cracks and scratches, but the body panels aren't metal so they won't rust under the paint. Apart from that, the car looks great, definitely stands out and gets lots of attention.
It comes with 2 sets of keys, a lot of service history and receipts dating back to the 1990 s, a stainless steel aftermarket exhaust and some new usused parts. The US style number plates read 007 and come with the car
I had the car for over a year and have put around £2500 into it in parts and labour as I wasn't planning to sell it. It was mostly driven in good weather.
Only selling it because I bough myself another Firebird with a V 8.
The good:
Within the last year or so, it had: New oil, oil filter, fuel filter, new spark plugs and coolant... New ignition coils (all of them) New transmission mount New front disks and pads New rear shocks New front lower control arms and bushings New tie rods New Pioneer speakers (I still have the original ones in a box) Reverse camera over the rear number plate (I took my android head unit out and put the original one back in... but left all the cables such as the trigger for the reverse camera in place along with the camera itself, ready to be connected) The rear axle was serviced, had new oil and a new gasket There was some other work done and the car will come with a box or receipts
The bad: It will come with a new wiper module that hasn't been installed yet, the wipers do work but not in all modes and stop a bit higher up than they should. The plastic dashboard cover is cracked in a few places, there are aftermarket covers available to buy, so it can be fixed. The dashboard itself is fine as the cover is a separate piece. There is a crack in the right side taillight The car could do with a paint job, there are some marks, sratches and cracks in the paint. There is mark in a darker shade of red on the rear right quater panel (visible in the video) There may be some other things I haven't noticed as the car is 27 years old, so it obviously won't be like a new car. It's an old car so it's sold as seen.
I have also attached a link to a youtube video, that includes a walkaround and a cold start after the car was parked for about 3 weeks:
