caddy Description 1958 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible NO RESERVE!!We are offering a 1962 Cadillac Series 62 convertible. This car was designed by the legendary Harley Earl, 365 CI, approximately 300 hp V 8 motor, four-speed Hydra-matic automatic transmission, with a weight of 5000+ pounds. As collectibles go the 1958 should be somewhat of a stand out because it was a stand-alone year, 57 had different styling and the 1959 had much different styling so it was a one year production car which makes it limited and valuable. This car was purchased in 1991 by the previous owner and then it put through an extensive frame off restoration (see photos) upon completion the car was parked in the climate controlled eight car storage area of his home (see photos) never to see the light of day again until now 30 years later. Car was routinely started and cleaned to keep it in good working order. Odometer is showing 47,199 miles which is believed to be the correct mileage on the car, although in the state of Pennsylvania the title has the mileage as exempt by PA law. Original color of car was a gunmetal gray it was repainted factory Cadillac red with two-tone black and white leather interior, power windows, power brakes, power steering,very nicely equipped, everything is in good working order. Car starts, runs and drives well could use a little bit of brake work. All of the chrome is excellent, power top works as it should and is also in excellent condition, very striking example of a 58 Cadillac Rag-top, very collectible, very sharp, very cool, bid with confidence.
