Here you go! A 1979 GMC 3/4 Tin Sierra Grande 2WD survivor! This truck has been in my family for 22 years! My Dad had it as a weekend toy at their vacation home and only used it 2-3 months out of the year. I became the proud owner 6 years ago and also only drive it a few hundred miles at best per year.

The truck isn't perfect….it's got some dents and dings and a smudge of rust but man….it's a fun one to drive. It's great as is ir if you want to lower it and out some big wheels on it…this is the one you want!

- Rebuilt 350'in 2018 - less than 800 miles on rebuild

- new clutch

-newer heater core

- nice wheels and tires with lots of life left

- trailer brakes

- dual fuel tanks with locking caps - both work!

- dual exhaust

- straight body with very little surface rust

- 3 speed with a granny gear

- starts after 2 pumps of gas pedal and purrs like a kitten

- power steering

- will need brakes- starting to pulse - disc front and drum rear

- clutch pedal is a touch sticky- doesn't retract all the way back to resting position- sits completely usable and never bugged me enough to fix - most likely a worn spring

- very very little rust around windshield, surface rust on bumper and a small bubble area ( not rust yet see pics) and a small silver dollar size hole inside front wheel well between engine bay and wheel

ExteriorVery straight and clean exterior. Front driver side has slight dent and riple from when I was a kid and hit a Kia. We tried to color match the paint and bring the dent out the best we could we also had to replace the bumper…I believe it's from a 78. Small amounts of rust around windshield and very light surface rust on bumper. A little Buble in the rear panel behind driver side rear wheel. Only one spot I could find where rust comes through and that's driver side interior panel that is a barrier to the engine bay - see the pic. Other than those flaws the exterior is in really good shape. Clear cost is coming off on the hood but I just keep it polished so it looks nice. InteriorClean interior. The carpet has seen better says but is mostly in tact. No rust in the floor boards - they are actually really clean! There are 2 burn holes from what I believe was a cigarette - the previous owner smoked ( no smell of smoke in the truck tho this was 22 years ago). All panels and dash are very nice…dash is excellent no rips or tears!EngineThe 350 Motor was rebuilt 3 years ago. I had blown a head gasket and my mechanic told me once it was all apart it would be best to rebuild so I had him rebuild and replace the clutch. Less than 800 miles on the rebuilt motor. I did not have the transmission rebuilt. This truck is mechanically sound. You can see by the pics hat the frame and h set belly look good. Previous owner also put in a dual exhaust system.
