Here you found our 1984 Mercedes 300 CD turbo diesel coupe. This gorgeous 2 door coupe was finished in Maroon (MB color code 501) with palomino color MB-Tex interior. A very elegant classic color combination and i do get compliments on it all the time. This car really stands out on the street and in any parking lot. It looks so different than your average pack of Priuses and Teslas... The paint is in excellent condition without any dings, dents or scratches. It still shines like on a much newer car. The interior is very clean as well , as the many pictures will show. Just recently we had a lot of mechanical work and maintenance done and this 37 year old classic runs wonderful. It has been serviced with all new fluids and filters. The valves have been adjusted and the brakes including the brake booster have been re-done. The AC has been converted to the R 134 freon and it blows nice and cold.This car always starts up right away , shifts well through all the gears and it has plenty of power in town and on the freeway. You can constantly cruise at 85-90 mph while still getting 27 mpg of diesel. This classic Mercedes is really fun to drive and reminds you of a time , when cars were built to last a lifetime and not just until the next model year comes along. It has only been driven 142 k miles and that is considered low mileage for a Mercedes diesel of this vintage. They are known to go over 600 k miles with the right maintenance. This 300 CD is an original CA car and still has the original CA plates from 1984.I would prefer to sell this car locally to somebody who could come out and see it. But i would also be willing to help with shipping arrangements for any out of town winning bidders. Please have your funding in order and do all your "due diligence" BEFORE placing a bid. This is a wonderful classic 37 year old Mercedes and it will be sold "as is" and without a warranty.
