1958 BMW Isetta

All there and in good condition for a project car needing restoration.  There is minimal rust and the car is suprisingly original right down to all 6 Triplex marked "heart" windows.  The underside has surface rust but no structural rust that I can find except on the floor around the battery box area and along the lower edge of the door.  Frame is original and serial number matches the serial number on the aluminum data plate. Please check all the pictures and zoom in for more detail as the pictures are part of the description.The license plates were last tabbed in 1969 which indicates this car has been sitting for over 50 years.  The original engine was sent out for repair and then lost according to the previous owner.  He was able to part out a few BMW Isetta cars later and kept a complete engine and many extra parts and that engine and all the extra parts will accompany the car.Miles are 18,824 and it is unknown if those are original miles or 118,824 miles - although I can't imagine a BMW 300 Isetta making it to 100k miles.  The body has minimal rust but there are dents and dings all over that will need to be fixed if you're going for a full restoration.   Car steers and rolls fine, tires are flat and will need to be replaced.  Upholstery appears to be original with 'horsehair' type padding underneath and the upholstery should present well with a good cleaning. If you're familiar with restoration projects this one will be smooth because it's all there.  If you're just getting into restoring cars this car is perfect because it's so simple and restoration parts are readily available.  The BMW Isetta community is full of people willing to share their knowledge to help you too and microcar(d0t)org(backslash)isettatech is a WEALTH of information if you've ever wanted to have an Isetta 300.  Isetta prices are rising, buy this one now while it's still attainable. Both head lights are original Lucas headlights.Both front turn signal glass lenses are original Lucas.Both rear turn signal lenses and the middle brake light are original Made In England Lucas plastic lenses.Speedometer is marked "Smiths" and is not a VDO unit.All 6 windows are original with Triplex "heart" glass markings.  Windshield is crack free.Comes with an extra set of 5 windows with SEKURIT markings.
