Please read entire ad this is my second time posting on e Bay I live in Fairfield California which is about 40 miles from Sacramento and 50 miles from San Francisco ca.. now up for sale is a True survivor 1965 Pontiac Lemans GTO this car has a full PHS documentation with the factory window sticker that is laminated. Also I just got the car inspected for a value appraisal by a local classic car appraiser..The car came Equipped factory with a 389 matching number motor.2/speed powerglide automatic transmission.I was told from last owner that on April 1965 the original owner was the nephew they added a Tri power 3/2 barrel carburetors.The original intake and factory 4/barrel Carter carburetor is in the trunk.great working power convertible top.has Bucket seats with consul. Working a.m. radio. Factory manual. Originally a gentleman purchased the car in 1965 and in 1979 the uncle named David from Redding, ca purchased the car from the nephew Then had the car repainted about 40 years ago so about 1981 the car was repainted Plus had a New Top was put on back in 2001 The top looks like it just got put on that's how perfect condition it's in and every six months to a year the car was pulled out of the garage driven to local events and parked back in the garage covered only 47,800 Miles showing on the odometer I'm pretty sure they're going to be the original miles due to the fact that the car was garaged for 40-plus years.. all the chrome And bodyparts on the car are in pristine condition there is no rust anywhere no dents anywhere no rips or tears in pristine condition the appraiser report states it very good. But just letting u kno It does have a few paint defects hood passenger side has some oxidation.shown in pics also Rear trunk lid has minor oxidation an Passenger door has some sort of minor paint bubbles very old hard to explain overall the car is in pristine shape runs perfect smooth. I deal with RVs mostly and once in a while I will come across a classic or 2 I've been selling RVs for 27 years family owned and operated local business.so this car was purchased From David that was the 2 nd second owner The nephew was the original owner new and back in 1979 David purchased it and what was redone 40 years ago was a repaint only and ever since then it was garage kept every six months to a year it was pulled out and driven locally and put back covered there is no damage whatsoever no rust no rips no tears no cuts a few minor scratches and it has 2 minor Hairline cracks on top of the rear trunk please look in the picture And has a few oxidation on the pass front hood and rear top trunk lid and a few minor sweat bubbles on the right door again it's a 40 year old paint job that still looks amazing..The top was installed 20 years go in 2001 From a Upholstery shop in Redding California.what David told me was He and his nephew back in 1965 of April wanted the Tri power setup so they located one and took the original intake and four barrel carter carburetor off and boxed it an placed it in the trunk of the car So they added 3/AC Delco Tri power and intake to the vehicle and has been on the motor ever since.. The vehicle was just appraised on September 5, 2021 by a local classic car appraiser I have all documentation plus the factory laminated window sticker with full PHS reports on the vehicle so it's full documented numbers matched.. i've matched the original motor to the numbers it is correct 389 original block I've matched the rear axle we're in key code matched to speed powerglide transmission.
