~ 1989 Chevrolet Camaro RS ~1 owner, AZ/CA carHere is a very nice 1 owner 1989 Chevy Camaro RS, purchased at Joe MacPherson Chevrolet in Irvine, CA, 1989. All the paperwork that the dealership initially provided is still with the car; from initial financing information to a thank-you letter written by the dealership to the customer.  This car has always been in AZ or CA.  It is rust free and has been well cared for its entire life.  Included below this description are many additional photos of the car, and detailed photos of the undercarriage, along with a comprehensive video.This Camaro has the 305 Throttle body fuel injected motor with the 4 speed automatic with overdrive.  It runs and drives great!   No modification to the motor or transmission.  The engine runs great, and the engine bay video shows how smooth the motor runs with no shaking or vibrations at all (see video) with occasional minor exhaust smoke when cold but starts right up.  It retains its original dual exhaust, which is in incredible shape. All smog equipment is still in tact.  It has recently had a/c compressor, dryer, lines, and other a/c components replacement.  A/C blows ice cold.  It also has a newer alternator, a new battery, new starter solenoid, and recent oil change. The suspension is stock with recent front brake pads replaced.  It stops and drives great with no vibration or pulling even at highway speed.  The ride is incredibly smooth; at 7mph or 70 mph. Tires have plenty of tread.  The wheels do show some slight curb rash. The interior on this car is like new and fully intact.  Seats, carpet, trim, etc. are showroom quality.  Center console retains original service parts identification. All gauges work, except the trip odometer is stuck.  Radio sounds great, with no noise or popping from speakers. Heavy bass or heavy treble tests show the original audio system is in great shape. All blinkers work properly.  Interior lights work, and under hood light.  The back storage area is like new.   The spare complete with the jack and hardware and has never been used. Glass and trim are in very nice condition.  Headlights, brake lights, etc are very nice.
