1967 VW beach buggy (MK1 GP Super Buggy)

1967 VW Beech Buggy (MK1 GP Superbuggy)  based on a 1967 1500 beetle floor pan and running gear. I found this buggy lurking in barn having been off the road since 1980! The later pictures are as I found it. The whole vehicle was completely stripped and has undergone a full restoration. At some point the bodyshell had been painted white so this was carefully stripped back to reveal the original orange Gel coat. Floor pan and running gear have been refurbished as shown in the pics and most components replaced or refurbished. The car is still complete with its original matching numbers engine with now increased 1600cc displacement. Only 3 owners prior to me from new and last two having only owned it while off the road and in storage. The millage is displaying 55,940 which i think given the amount of time it was laid up and the fact its an early GP buggy is likely correct and original although i cannot confirm this. Turns heads wherever you go in it and honestly puts the biggest grin on your face! I'm sure ill forget some of the new parts but briefly speaking its had the following new parts, brake lines (hard and flexi), brake callipers, shoes and pads, new associated hardware, new fuel lines (hard and flexi) associated hardware, new Cooper cobra tyres, new gearbox mounts, handbrake cables and conduits, new 2.5 inch dropped spindles, new tie rods, track rod ends, steering damper, steering column bush, fuel tank, fuel tank sender, tank cap seal, swing axle boots, indicator stalk, grant steering wheel and boss, accelerator cable, clutch cable, all new wiring loom built from scratch, front headlights, front indicators, fuel gauge, ignition switch, wiper washer, wiper voltage converter, alternator, starter motor, coil, barrels and pistons (1600cc), fuel pump, distributor, points cap etc, fan cover, wiper blades, ceramic coated dual exhaust, air filter, all new gaskets, pushrod tubes and hardware on engine, big foot pedal, fibreglass buggy seats and padded vinyl covers, hub caps, urethane gear linkage, clutch and pressure plate, baby peep wing mirrors, shock absorbers Sachs rear, coilover front, nearly every rubber component that i havent already mentioned. The list goes on but you get the idea. It really is as close to a brand new buggy as you'll get but with the benefit of being based around a nice period plate car with some original patina to the fibreglass shell. Please no time wasters ive had lots. I dont need opinions on price based on other buggys as they are not this buggy and probably havent had the amount of new parts this has had. Thanks for looking.
