*new photos added* Extremely original 1984 Lotus Excel. Clean retro red interior part carpet/ part red leather. Has historical invoice file of over £20,000 upkeep of receipts in its lifetime. Well looked after by 4 of the 7 previous owners, who spent many thousands ensuring the Lotus stayed in tip top condition. Good tight headlining and upholstery.New clutch, both belts, water pump, calipers, manifold, triple core radiator from Lotusbits which on these models, negates over-heating.Used as a daily/weekly runner to work and school runs. Always starts on the button year-round. Pulls like a horse in 2 nd, 3 rd, 4 th. Usual overdrive 5 th gear. Superb compression.Bodywork very decent for 37 year old car. Tiny patch of crazing on one area size of 10 p piece unnoticeable. Original Lotus Speedline alloy wheels. Electronic lozenge keyring immobiliser.Original radio cassette. Genuine mileage as Speedo works as it should. Custom 80's rare pump-up lumbar back support on driver's seat.4 inertia seat belts. Electrics all working - slow motor switch on driver's side o/s window. Dash tops re-upholstered at the turn of the millennium, so no cracked tops. Small 2.5" patch of discoloration on front windscreen bottom corners. Will add some interior photos once it stops raining
