1970 Volvo Amazon 133 2 door 2000 cc.This Volvo arrived in the UK in 2016 having spent its life in Japan where they don't salt the winter roads.Consequently the car is remarkably rot free.All the panels are original with very little evidence of welding repairs anywhere.These cars were overengineered and built to last.1970 was the last production year of the Amazon with the larger 2 litre engine,Weber twinchoke carburettor and tubular exhaust manifold.Coming from Japan the recorded mileage 46,150 Km could well be true,but I can't prove it,you decide.I spent about £1200 last year on recommissioning - a major brake overhaul with new calipers,brakeshoes plus steering arms,exhaust,electrics etc.This work is all documented with invoices.Most parts are readily available for these Amazons and they are refreshingly simple to work on.Although MOT exempt I had the car tested for peace of mind.Current MOT runs until 21/04/2022.The old girl runs and drives well.I am now thinning out my classic car collection as I simply don't use them enough.Not desperate to sell though,these old vehicles are a great investment.Serious buyers welcome to come and view.Please call,not text, to arrange appointment.07836 636901 Thanks
