This Camper is a 1972 UK RHD survivor! The van is amazingly solid for a UK van. The doors, sills arches etc appear all original, doors open and close as they should. One key opens all locks.During the previous ownership a new reconditioned 1600 TP engine was fitted in 1990 and still starts first time today. Recent new parts/upgrades include,steering idler pin, gear shift bushes, Sachs shock all round,exhaust with stainless tailpipe, vintage speed shifter, carb rebuild, HD front and rear swaybars,upgraded alternator. 5 new maxiss hookworm tyres. The interior is of unknown origin but is as good as, if not better than any production made interior of the time, numerous drawers and lots of storage. Additional storage under dash. The interior includes a cooker, sink and 2 way fridge and a double pull out bed with 2 x 3 pt seat belts It has been updated with modern Aux battery ctek battery to battery charger with solar input, mains hookup and 3 stage mains charger 3 pin plug and 12 v/USB sockets.The Devon roof has been fully restored with new paint, bellows, headliner, springs etc. The inside van has been stripped, the original floor repainted, insulated and sound deadened with modern materials, units re-painted and rebuilt with new headliners. Also has cab bunk that will sleep 2 children up to about 6 years old. Comes with roll out fiamma awning. The Paint is a little tired to be expected but is not hiding a load of bad repairs, uk vans like this are getting hard to find Drives really well and is lovely and smooth as its still at stock ride height. will be very much missed.
