1987 Porsche 911 3.2 Carrera Targa G50 for sale

A highly original example of a classic 3.2 911 Targa in right hand drive, with the sought-after G 50 gearbox. It's the Carrera Sport model, so gets the upgraded Bilstein suspension, 16" Fuchs alloys and of course the rear wing. Comes with the Certificate of Authenticity from Porsche, which lists the custom options such as the linen leather seats and leather steering wheel with Porsche crest. Got lots of compliments on the Retro Run the Silverstone Classic they are getting harder to find in period-correct style without outlandish modifications.Drives beautifully starts first time every time. Did a road trip to Scotland last summer without missing a beat and goes for a weekly spin to keep everything ticking over. For a 34 year old car, it is very well behaved. The Targa roof comes on and off very easily. There are a couple of paint chips and a small rust bubble on the rear bumper – be happy to show you in detail there's really nothing to hide. Went clear through last MOT (Feb). Has had a new clutch in last 2,000 miles, new Dansk stainless steel exhaust, new Bosch distributor. Also new window rubbers and spark sensors. All servicing has been with an independent Porsche specialist. As far as air-cooled Porsches go, the 3.2 Carrera is the most robust, and the G 50 gearbox makes it even more practical. Comes with full service history, Co A, original tool roll and air compressor.
