We have pleasure in presenting for sale this 1971 Morris Minor van

 

Various aspects make this particular van a very unusual proposition, not least that it was exceptionally solid when we purchased it, having looked at a number of vans before the opportunity to purchase this one arose.

 

It is a rare Royal Mail specification vehicle with many unique features such as single seat, Yale locks and other features only found on Royal Mail vehicles of the time.

 

We have worked tirelessly with experts in Royal Mail vehicles, as well as the renowned specialists Charles Ware's Morris Minor Centre, who have completed much of the work required to totally renovate this vehicle in every sense, regardless of cost, to create the finished van you see here.

 

No area has been left untouched, with the van totally stripped and repainted by Charles Ware, along with a full mechanical overhaul.

 

The attention to detail extends to a bespoke commissioned wicker basket, and proper Royal Mail livery including the rare varnish transfers. Even a period-style battery from Lincoln Batteries to give the under-bonnet area a truly authentic finishing touch.

 

This van drives and performs superbly in all respects and would be ideal for a collector, or simply use and enjoy. Supplied with MOT to July 2022.
