Triumph TR 7 drop head convertible 1980. Genuine car with a genuine reason for sale.I purchased this beautiful car as a present to myself after years of dreaming of owning one. I purchased the car from a well respected Triumph dealer(Robsport) in April 2017. The car is extremely solid underneath. The car was originally gold in colour (see boot photo)but at some point has been redone in a lovely dark maroon. The paintwork is showing signs of aging in a few places with a small amount of bubbling showing on both sides at the front near the (working!) lights ,there is a chip out on the front edge of the bonnet and marks on the rear panel passenger side -please see photos as they make up part of the description. When I purchased the car I also purchased a new hood . A tonneau is also included in the sale. I had intended to replace the interior of the car as tired.New old stock available from Rimmers. The passenger seat does have a tear on it(see photo),I usually lay a jumper over this to hide it! Trying to be as honest as possible about the bad bits REMEMBER THIS CAR IS 41 YEARS OLD and is not concours..... however it is perfectly useable and will definitely bring a smile to your face and everyone who spots you out and about.GOOD BITS.. body solid ,engine good. The car runs exactly as it should with no problems ,as such once you have sorted insurance this car can be driven away by a new owner.

Unfortunately less than 12 months after buying the car my mother-in-law had a brain injury, meaning ive become her full time carer. This is a situation that looks to continue for the long term hence ive decided to part with the 7 instead of just looking at her in the garage. Kidded myself for ages that I "needed" to keep it but the reality is its just gathering dust..... I truly believe classic cars should be used. the car is on sorn. no warrenty is offered or implied. no returns. cash on collection preferred or bank transfer. payment and collection within 7 days or vehicle will be relisted.low start price for a classic that's ready to go straight to shows. much more spent on it. any questions please contact me on 5. happy bidding no ending early.
