Here is my 1974 Sunbeam Rapier fastback, unfortunately for sale due to downsizing,It is a late model with 4 speed auto box and tinted windows. I use it regularly and it drives really well and changes gear as it should both up and down.This car is very solid needing no welding underneath, Rear strut tops, valance and rear quarters were all professionally welded a few years ago. Sometimes the starter solenoid sticks but it has only happened a handful of times and there is a small oil leak from the front crankcase seal but nothing serious.The interior is in really good condition although there is one crack on the dash top, seats, door cards and carpets are all good. All the windows work creating a pillarless coupe and all the electrics are fine, even the clock works.The paintwork will need attention as it has cracked on the tops of the front wings through faulty paint i think. There is a bit of rust on the front wings around the headlights like most of these and the drivers side front wing has rust by the door. It is not a perfect car but could easily be a show car with a bit of love, all panels are original i believe apart from the rear valance.I have some history including all previous owners and handbooks, workshop manuals etcAlso a pair of new front strut inserts (shocks) comes with the car as does a spare drivers door with very good window winder and a complete set of spare glass although not tinted.So, altogether a very nice car that i will be sad to see go but along with my Triumph Herald i need to move on.Good luck with bidding, any questions please ask.Cash on collection or bank transfer only please
