This is my Galaxie 428 Q code that I have owned for over 4 years, life seems to get in the way of driving it so I have decided to reluctantly sell.It is currently on an agreed value insurance for £25k.There are only 24 of these on the full-size Ford registry (worldwide) as far as I know it's the only one in the UK.The previous owner had it imported, but also had a 352, so decided to sell and I bought it from him.It is obviously road tax exempt and can be mot exempt but I have chosen to have them done every year for peace of mind.When it was produced most people bought the 7 litre edition, this customer spent nearly half again to get this engine in a car with this interior, hence there are not many around.Below is a description of the car when it was in the states, it covers pretty much everything,The Hood, Trunk, and Both Doors "Shut" with Ease... (No Slamming needed Here) The Power Brakes Stop it on a Dime, and Power Windows have had Motors Replaced with New Motors and They work without any help. IT WAS THEN BROKE IN AND DYNO'D AND PRODUCED 535 FT LBS OF TORQUE AT 3300 RPMS AND 403 HP AT 4400 RPMS... THE C-6 AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION WAS FULLY AND COMPLETELY REBUILT AT THIS TIME AND BOTH WERE CAREFULLY INSTALLED INTO THE DETAILED CAR. THE INTERIOR SPORTS THE GALAXIE 500 XL FRONT BUCKETS THAT MATCH THE LTD'S ORIGINAL CLOTH AND A DELUXE AUTOMATIC SHIFT ON THE CENTER CONSOLE... THE CARPETS SHOW PRETTY WELL, AND BECAUSE EVERYBODY THOUGHT IT WAS SO COOL THAT IT WAS STILL THE "ORIGINAL FACTORY-INSTALLED" CARPET, (AFTER CHECKING TO MAKE FOR  "SURE"  THAT ALL WAS "RUST-FREE" DOWN THERE... ), THE ORIGINAL 1966 FORD CARPET  WAS LEFT.  THE DRIVER SEAT IS A 6-WAY POWER...   ALL THE BRAKES,(POWER DISC on the Front...), SHOCKS, THE DRIVE SHAFT, HOSES, BULBS, SWITCHES, AND EVEN THE HEATER CORE WAS  REPLACED...  ALL THE RUBBER IS "BRAND NEW"...  THIS MONSTER 428 ENGINE NOW HAS A EDELBROCK ALUMINUM INTAKE,  A 750 HOLLEY CARBURETOR ,  HOOKER HEADERS AND MICKEY THOMPSON  VINTAGE VALVE COVERS...  ( NICE !!! )   FRESHLY RESTORED 15/8 TORQUE THRUSTS AND NEW 235-60 COOPER COBRA TIRES MAKES THIS CLASSIC STAND OUT "ANYWHERE"...!
