I am listing my Mach 1 to see how much interest there is.   I've got several other cars I am restoring so if this sells the funds will go toward those.   The car is a true 35K mile car.   I have plenty of documentation proving its mileage and authenticity.   It is not perfect but is extremely nice and very correct.   It runs and drives like it's 1973 and has 35K miles.   A/C has been converted to R134-A and blows cold.   If I keep the car I will put it back to R12.   I have an NOS receiver drier and plenty of refrigerant.   Also have a set of Magnum 500 wheels for it but the wheels and caps on it are what it actually came with.   Any questions please ask and I will respond.   I prefer anyone interested in the car to please come look at and drive it in person. if possible.   I want a potential buyer to know the car is what I am saying it is and see for themselves.
Also. the car was parked and not started for approximately thirty years inside.   After it's hibernation the second owner (who was acquaintances with original owner) pulled the engine and had it disassembled and checked out and reassembled by a reputable machine shop--receipts in hand--and was told that it was in perfect condition so it was regasketed and assembled with original parts. It was also stripped to bare metal and repainted and paint still is as close to a 10 out of 10 as you can get.   At that time the second owner decided to paint the hood and add the stripes as the J code cars had--if I keep the car I am going to take those off and put it back correct in that regard as well.

I have all the original paperwork that the car came with as well as a host of receipts through the years further documenting the original mileage as it progressed through the years.

The car is numbers matching.   It has incorrect carb on it.   It has a 7040288 (auto without a/c).   I am in search of the correct 7040285 carb and if I find one it will be with the car.
