This was purchased by me as an incomplete kit 2 years ago. Unfortunately covid slowed the process down and it's only just completed and registered. Mot and tax exempt.It's a universal products kit from South Africa. Started by one of their customers and bought back by them incomplete. I purchased the car and had the build finished by Universal. The car is built on a shortened 1975 beetle chassis. Independent rear suspension. Running a freshly rebuilt and powder coated Porsche 356 90hp engine. Starts on the button and pulls very well indeed. Please bare in mind this engine is worth at least £7k!! Gearbox is a normal beetle affair with a short shift. Inside has red leather bucket seats (new) and Porsche dials. The interior is a very authentic representation of a genuine 356 interior. Has all the Porsche badges, presents very well indeed. Drives well. Stops well. The only reason it's for sale is because I have recently purchased a real 356 so there in no point keeping this. I am open to selling the car with a normal VW air cooled beetle engine. This can be discussed with any interested parties. Obviously that would reduce the sale price.I am open to offers, reasonable ones! No last price or “I'll come with cash today” clowns need apply!!Any questions please ask. Car is based in Essex. Payment by cash or bank transfer only.
