1968 Plymouth GTX

Originally a 1968 Sport Satellite Convertible 383 super commando automatic console bucket car Factory B 5 blue Black Interior Black Top car Owned for 18 years

when i purchased it had new paint new carpet new bumpers and the Gtx Tribute was started with Emblems Grille and Hood i drove the car for many years when the motor went south

Cleaned and painted engine compartment b 5 blue cleaned and powder coated K frame and professionally rebuilt with poly graphite bearings new upper tubular and lower control arms and new spindles in 2012

i sent the car to Spanky's rod shop in Mena Arkansas for a Professional Hemi swap he installed low mileage 5.7 from a 2006 300 c it had 2500 miles on it Mark at spanky's took around 8 months to do the Install

using all new parts he painted and installed the entire thing very professionally done install couldn't of been happier

New in the rebuild was these and many other new parts TTI headers,

Wiring harness,

Ecu,

Motor mounts,

Fly by wire,

TTI adaptor for 727 transmission New Aluminum Radiator new Fans Manual steering box new fuel lines new balanced Driveshaft new trans crossmember new Alternatornew Transmission linesnew 727 transmission with new 2800 stall convertornew coil packscleaned painted and hid all wiring in engine compartment Flaming river tilt column and Grant steering wheel few years after the swap

we did 13" dr diff disc brakes all around

new green bearings

new yokes for driveshaft

swapped the 323 sure grip out for 273 single for highway flying

the sure grip and new axles and new brake pads with new rotors come with the car. new kenwood stereo system with subwoofer and amp blue tooth capabilities new Budnick 20 x 12 and 19 x 9 wheels with nitto nt 555 meats this is the widest tire you can get with stock rear-end and tubs the car is not modified added the wing for protouring look Installed Redline lumtronics Headlight halos not currently hooked up.

Build was about 9 years ago still runs and drives excellent i wouldn't hesitate to fly in and drive home to California or any long distance trip it is great on the highway 22 mpg at 90 mph

things that need fixed (just being picky)

Passenger inside door latch dont work there is a small split in the metal inside the drivers door area minor paint bubbles scratches and small dings evident but overall killer car

few rips in the Top where the ribs are 99% of the time its down has a perfect top boot brakes need new supplied rotors and pads installed

Drive, Restore or Hellcat replant would be easy already has motor mounts computer ready to go
