You are looking at a very special 54 Studebaker Land Cruiser. This one features a replacement Studebaker V-8, 259 cu in 160 horsepower engine. I have no information as to when this engine was installed but the engine number is V302060 which corresponds to a production 1955 Studebaker Commander 259 engine. It appears stock in the engine compartment and it starts right away, shows 40-50 pounds of oil pressure and runs beautifully. It had a recent repaint in 2018 and looks to be very close to the original color match of Lance Green over Azore Green. It features a manual transmission with the near bullet proof Borg Warner T-86 overdrive that shifts perfect in and out of overdrive. Other features include Hill Holder, a hard-to-find new old stock steering wheel along with a beautiful dash, re-upholstered front and back seats are the correct pattern with a nice durable green cloth upholstery material, color matching headliner and original door panels. Recent service includes new front and rear u-joints, center bearing insulator, all new wheel cylinders and master cylinder, brakes all around, rear pinion seal, new heater control valve, new muffler, rebuilt generator, new front suspension bushings and four new Coker American Classic 7.10R-15 tires. This is a reliable, completely sorted car that is ready to enjoy and drive anywhere you wish to take it. Clear lien-free Virginia title. Wil sell only to buyers in Continental US and Canada.
