1976 Jeep Cherokee Chief S You are viewing a very original unrestored Cherokee.Primarily all original with a few recent updates.The car has 122 K original miles and spent its entire life in Northern Idaho.Second owner and bought 3 years ago.

Body/Paint:The body is all original steel with some rust issues in the typical areas.Little rust and in overall really nice condition.Original paint with great patina.Overall the body is in really good condition.

Interior:Most of the interior is original except the carpet was replaced.PS, PB, AC in non-operational condition.Fan blower and compressor turns free.Power rear window with new motor.

Running Gear:Original drive train.360 2 bbl. V 8 with 3 speed automatic.Runs and drives really well.

Suspension:Stock suspension in great condition.

Glass: All original with windshield cracked.

Exhaust:New exhaust and dueled off after the muffler.The muffler was replaced and is a Thrust.

Brakes:Disc drum and were serviced and work as they should.

Brite work: All original in decent shape.

Wheels/Tires: The wheels are original and restored in really nice condition and not curbed.New radial tires.

Recent work done on the Jeep:Carb rebuilt and gas tank replaced, new carpet, fluid changed, new hoses, new tires, rad flushed, new exhaust, tune up, rear window motor and battery.

Summary: Good honest Jeep in original condition and you see what you get.Affordable 4 X 4 with great patina.These Cherokees of this era are becoming very collectible.The 2 door wagon are rare to find.I have over 100 pictures of the car so please contact me and provide your email address if you would like additional pictures.
