THE STORY BEHIND THIS FIBERFAB

'56 PORSCHE 356 SPEEDSTER REPLICA

This Fiber Fab '56 Porsche 356 Speedster (Replica) is being sold a Non-Running Project. The exterior & interior is Fully complete. Last Year, I had the motor inspected by a certified Porsche mechanic and it failed a compression test in one of the cylinders. The left side of the motor was disassembled by one of our shop mechanics ... and ... they found that a few piston rings needed to be replaced. We assumed is was a Volkswagen engine ... and ... took it to one of the top Volkswagen engine builders in Winter Park, Florida to have it repaired.

Our Volkswagen engine builder quickly discovered that it was a Jake Raby built engine, a 1972-73 Porsche 914 2.1 L 1700 cc Flat-4 that cost a little over $20 k to build and produced 170 HP. Jake Raby is an American Inventor, Entrepreneur and engine builder. Jake has been responsible for major breakthroughs with a plethora of Porsche, and VW engines. Among his patented inventions are the IMS Solution, responsible for “saving” an entire generation of Porsche engines. We got in contact with him recently and verified there serial number on our Porsche engine. The VW engine builders of winter park, fl said that his motor should be rebuilt by Jake Raby ... and ... its a I year wait. That's why we are selling it as a project ... since ... the engine is to valuable to have it repaired by anyone else.
