GMC Jimmy. This is a running and driving 1983 GMC Jimmy. It is a daily driver and it runs good. I have a clear/clean Utah title in my name, and the reserve on my Jimmy is very low and well under the Jimmy's value. Please look closely at all of the photos. I want the new owner to know exactly what they are bidding on. With this in mind, I will list both the positive and negative aspects of my 1983 GMC Jimmy Blazer. On the positive side the Jimmy runs good, starts easily, shifts smoothly, and can be driven. An interesting change in the Jimmy is the engine. GMC put small diesel engine in these trucks in the mid 1980s. These diesel engines were under powered, over-heated, and didn't hold up well. My Jimmy had the diesel removed and a rebuilt 350 GMC engine installed. The engine in my Jimmy runs good, doesn't smoke or make unusual sounds and starts easily. In addition the doors, hood, and tailgate align properly and open and close properly. Again, please look closely at the photos. On the negative side, the Jimmy has had some body work done, but it was not done very well. Both doors have been repaired and work properly, but the body work was not professional. The floors have been repaired much better than the doors. I've attempted to take close up photos of the repairs to give a clear picture of the body work. The Jimmy is structurally sound, the frame is dry and rust free. The windshield has a crack, but all of the side glass is good, including the rear tailgate glass.
