The great depression took an immense toll on our nation including the many car companies that were trying to make a go of it at the time. Chrysler corporation on the other hand survived and Plymouth helped get them there. Initially Plymouth was to serve as the lower end of a booming automobile market, but during the great depression, helped the company through and would secure there spot as what we know now as the part of the "Big 3". This particular 37 P4 is a really pretty car in my opinion with really nice lines and a smoother rear end then some of the other competitors. In addition this car has been in the same family since 1962. It was purchased by the current consignors father in 1962, we have that title to show along with the singing over the title to the current owner in 2018 when the father passed away. The car was restored back in the mid-1980's and then at that time used strictly as a parade and show car. The car has not seen much use in the last 5-7 years, however, it does start, run and drive down the road as I can personally attest. I think the car needs a good mechanical once over like fluids and such, but this is a pretty rare car to see these in a uncut or unmodified state. The paint in my opinion still shows quite nice, the interior is decent, has a heater, the windshield opens as it should, the lights work and is in all around nice condition. Comes with the original owners manual.
