Kept in a time capsule, this 1969 Pontiac GTO looks as it did when it rolled off the showroom back in 1969. The numbers are all matching, and panel gaps are exactly equal across the board. With a binder full of restoration receipts dating back to 2001, you can flip through thousands of dollars' worth of maintenance records and receipts. Mayfair Maize yellow paint is easy on the eyes with a beautifully kept black vinyl roof, accented by the brightly polished drip rails. Hideaway headlights make the grill take character during the day time, adding a nice touch to an already sophisticated machine. Inside is as clean as you would expect, with original Fisher foot plates, GM seat belts, and vinyl bucket seats. The 400 CI Ram Air IV engine will start at the first turn of your key like a modern fuel injected car. When shifting the TH 400 transmission into drive, you'll find no slop in the gears and a very positive engagement. The exhaust note is a delightful rumble that's easy on the ears at idle, but will remind you of why you chose this car once you engage the accelerator to the floor, proving itself as the GOAT.
