This vehicle comes with a clear title.

Body and Accessories
This 1932 Ford Roadster has a Henry Ford steel body. and it appears to be original. The bodywork on the body. fenders. doors. and trunk lid has been completed and is in excellent condition. That's the good news. The bad news is that this car was in storage longer than it should have been. so it has some minor dents and multiple scratches. As far as I can tell. the only major body pieces that are missing are the radiator support rods and the hood hold down.

The floorboards under the seats are 32 Ford and are in excellent condition (see pictures). From the seat to the rear of car. it appears that the floor has been replaced. The steel looks professionally installed.

Body repairs: New metal has been welded in front left and right dog leg and the lower left and right front quarter panels. And again it looks very professionally done.

The running boards appear to be aftermarket (not original) and do have some wear and surface rust.

The firewall is 32 Ford but has been drilled for various options. but it is very serviceable.

The radiator shell. grill insert. radiator cap. hood ornament. and hood moulding are excellent and original. However. the oval Ford emblem is a reproduction.

The headlights have Ford Script. are in very nice condition. and are dent free. Original headlight bar and original V8 emblem. The horn is 1932 original and has been chrome plated.

The windshield frame is original 32 and in excellent condition. It comes with side mounting stanchions. wiper motor. rear view mirror. pull tabs for opening and closing windshield. windwing brackets. hardware. and even the little vacuum tube for the wiper hose (see pictures).

The dash. dash panel. and support brackets are original 32 Ford. The outer dash is wood grain and appears to be in excellent condition and very attractive.

All inside and outside door handles. trunk handles. and hardware are included and appear to be original.

Rumble seat is in excellent condition. springs are very nice. and the grab handles are original 32 Ford.

The taillight brackets and lenses look to be original 32 Ford. Step pad bracket has a Ford part number. License plate brackets front and rear are original.

Luggage rack appears to be original but cannot find any markings to verify. The back spreader bar supports a luggage rack and believed to be original but also cannot verify. The chrome spreader bar is larger in diameter than normal. but was left on the car because its construction is far superior in look and in quality. Because the luggage rack bracket would have to be modified to fit this bar. I'm including another spreader bar that matches the luggage rack.

Bumpers are original and in nice condition. The bumper brackets are nice and straight.

Hood
This car comes with a complete 32 hood with excellent left and right side panels and very restorable top panels. Also included are the chrome hinge down the center. a set of bars to join side panels to the hood. and mounting brackets at each edge of the hinge to secure the rear of the hood to the cowl. See pictures.  

Frame
The frame is nearly perfectly constructed. It has flawless welds with excellent craftsmanship. Very professionally done.   The origin of the frame is not known.

The frame is totally boxed. supporting a 9-inch Ford rear end with drum brakes. new shoes. and wheel cylinders. The rear has adjustable triangulated 4-bar suspension with built-in torsion bar and coilover suspension. All cross members are rectangle with a removable transmission mount. The front end straight axle suspension has parallel 4-bar supporting 4-piston disc brakes and billet aluminum hubs.

The frame does have some nicks and scratches. and the chrome and stainless have some deterioration from sitting in storage and will have to be repolished. In addition. the front wheel studs are too short and will have to be replaced. Incorrect bolts are used throughout.  

The frame should accept a 1932 to 53 Ford engine without any alterations. The transmission is a C4 Ford transmission with a brand new shift control handle and linkage. The engine is an old cast block that appears to be from the 40s. The transmission and engine block were installed in the car to mock-up for pattern and measurements.

Convertible Top
Top irons are original 32 with appropriate part casting numbers. Top side curtains. rear window. and hardware come with the car (See photos. ) All fasteners to secure the top to the car are included. but two pieces of wood for the rear tacking strip are missing. Also includes all the rubber grommets and seals. Some are NOS and some repop.

  Upholstery
The seats are upholstered in leather. Very nice. Door panels are serviceable. but the kick panels are stained from too long of storage (see pictures).

Steering
Original 1932 Ford steering wheel. column. and working ignition switch and lock. It has either a Vega or Corvair steering box that is not hooked to steering column (see picture).

Gas Tank
The gas tank is in excellent condition and has been fitted with an electric fuel pump that has been professionally installed. Very tastefully done.

Wheels and Tires
The wheels are new reversed and the correct distance from tire to fender.
1940 Ford V8 hubcaps with trim rings.
Michelin tires all the way around -- 195/75R/15 (front) and 235/75R15 (rear).
