ABOUT THE TRUCK:
1972 Chevy K 20/GMC K 2500 350 sbc with a turbo 350 in it. GM truck. Does have Gmc vin and title but Chevy grill and tail gate. Truck is beautiful and an absolute head turner from the beautiful fresh copper poly paint to the great sound of that engine. New exhaust with black widow mufflers Odo reads about 88 k but was rebuilt and upgraded. Gmc deluxe ac cab (ac equipment no longer installed) and desirable wooden bed with Color matching spray lined sides. All new emblems and lights
ENGINE WORK:
Truck just had a fresh top end rebuild with an rv cam for extra torque. Also did a new timing chain along with a new cam gear for the chain. Engine is also bored .030 over. (A previous owner did the job.) Also set her up with a set of BPE polished aluminum heads with new pushrods, rockers and they came set with aluminum valves and performance springs. Engine runs a dual plane intake manifold with a Holley 750 street performance carb and has a matching timing chain cover/valve cover/air cleaner set.
RUNNING GEAR:
Truck also has a 14 bolt 1 ton rear end with an np 205 transfer case. Just went through the front end. Replaced the ball joints
Truck has a desirable and expensive limited slip posi front 3 rd member so all 4 tires will spin when 4 x 4 is locked. Front axle is also a big knuckle with disc brakes. Finally she sits on a new set of 295 Goodyear duratracs mounted on Mickey Thompson polished classic rims.
VISUALS:
The paint is also fresh with a factory chevy color from the year called Medium Copper Poly. There are some minor paint imperfections due to the cut and buff, Also has a new wooden bed with bed slats to match the cab and stainless bolts.
