Current customer rating:
Award winning 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air 2-door hardtop. Two owner '56 from Washington state. At the time of purchase had only 41,000 original miles. After a complete body off restoration done in 2004 has only 44,824 or 3824 miles since its completion! Gold certificate Bow tie winner with a total point score of 981, and Platinum award for best engine with an astonishing 987 points!
The NEW Bel Air was built for road travel. Starting the frame with the undercarriage has a chrome 9-inch rear end, 700 R-transamission, front disc brakes, and chrome tubular control arms. Winner of Seattle Roadster Show most Outstanding Undercarriage award! The Frame is done in Sierra Gold and every nut & bolt is either chrome or polished billet… Beautiful.
The engine compartment is a work of art built by Jess Jones! Powerful 350 ZZ 4 engine with Holley carburetor, Sanderson headers and a polished aluminum radiator. A custom-made air cleaner done in a 2-tone white & Sierra Gold. Every part of ZZ engine is either chrome or polish to a show finish.
The body received a new paint. Keeping true to the original colors of adobe beige and Chrome Base sierra gold with clearcoat of 7500 S Chrome Clear was done by Kevin Bates of Kreative Kustoms.
The interior is the original '56 Bel Air except the steering wheel. The original wheel of 18-inchs was shrunk 2-inchs smaller in diameter. Keeping the original appearance but making it more comfortable to drive.
