First `genuine` person to see will surely buy…

.

As you can no doubt see from the wonderful photos above, this beautiful and rare 1958 Ford-based 1958 Tornado Typhoon Roadster is still in incredibly wonderful condition, especially considering her 6+ decades in existence. I can literally see no worthwhile concerns at all to the exterior/upper body and the paint likewise still seems in super fine fettle with just miniscule imperfections here and there, if at all...

From what I can see the car seems almost totally original in spec, but I`m no expert (just a fanatic) so please feel free to ask as many deal-breaker questions as you feel necessary `before making a bid`, alternatively, please do feel free to send along your mechanical expert to examine this beautiful rare British built classic in as much detail as is required as to satisfy all your pre-bid concerns, as I`m sure you will not be disappointed with this car…

This car has been in long-term secure (investment-style) storage for quite some time now and has completed very few miles since her restoration. Even so, she never fails to roar back into life with just a few twists of the key. In anticipation of putting her up for sale I have kept her regularly turned over as to keep the cogs oiled.

Overall, from what I can see, this car is an absolute beauty to behold. The body and paint still look incredibly good, the engine starts and runs fine, and on my very short jaunt she appeared to drive as one would expect.

I have looked around at prices and at the time of writing there was one for sale in Italy (obviously as they are the style council after all) for just shy of £35,000…!!! I can only find one other for sale and that`s up at auction with an estimate of £40,000 -...!!!

I strongly believe with prices rising at the rate they currently are for these types of classic vehicles that top examples could quite easily topple £50,000 within the next 5-10 years. I`m sure most reading this could easily recall when top e-Types and Pagodas could easily be bought for under £10,000…!!! Now look at them… Some are over 200 k…!!!

With concours examples of this marque now demanding figures well into the 40 k+ region, I sincerely believe this original UK Tornado Typhoon Roadster, is the cheapest like-for-like on the market (in the world) by quite some distance, making this a once in a blue moon opportunity not only to purchase a great looking cool classic car, but to secure yourself in a sure-fire bullet-proof medium to long-term investment opportunity.

Surely this must be the perfect example to maintain, enjoy and tinker with for maximum enjoyment and financial gain (if this is indeed your aim).

So, in summary this is a legendary and iconic 1958 Ford-Based Tornado Typhoon Roadster that has been fully restored some time ago but has been in dry storage and very sparingly used by its previous owner (and me) for a little while now.

I am very keen to sell hence the very low asking price compared to the others on the market. PX is always welcomed.

I am so confident on the investment opportunity side of this car that I am prepared to back it up. If after 5 years you still have this car, and she remains in the same great condition, then I will happily return you your full purchase price in exchange for the car.

Who else would offer you the above and be prepared to write it into the receipt…?!???!!

As always, please bid/buy with confidence as we are honest people who would never wilfully mislead anyone just to achieve a sale. This said, all our cars are sold `as seen` so please feel free to come and view/examine `beforehand` to make sure you will be totally happy with your purchase once bought.

I hope I have covered most things but please feel free to ask as many questions as you like as one would expect this with a rare car like this.

If you have a genuine interest/offer, and you are prepared to back it up, then I`m sure it could be sorted between you, ourselves and e Bay.

As with all our cars, due to long term storage I would always strongly suggest a good going over/service/tune-up/recommissioning of all vulnerable and moving parts before returning them back to the open roads as they have not normally been used for some time and it would just be darn right silly not to on a modern car let alone a classic of a bygone era.

All our cars are sold `as seen` so please feel free to request a viewing `beforehand` to make sure you will be totally happy with your purchase once bought.

Although viewings are always welcomed (and encouraged) on all our vehicles we do understand that this may not always be possible, especially in the present climate, hence with this in mind please feel free to ask as many questions as you feel necessary to satisfy yourself as to what you are bidding on and potentially purchasing. A walk-around video can always be made available to any 'serious' potential bidder but this will only be accommodated after a satisfactory `telephone` conversation/request on the number provided…

Thank you for looking.

PLEASE NOTE:

According to the previous owner all the above is accurate but if certain details are important to you then please verify these details for yourself `before` placing a bid as this is not an option once purchased and must be taken as hearsay as opposed to factual for the purpose of this sale.
