Opel Kadett GTE (same as our Astra MK 1) . This is a genuine 4 door GTE imported from South Africa . All tax and duty has been paid and Nova declaration done. We will complete all the UK registration paperwork for the new owner but the car will need MOTD first.

Body - 4 Door GTE from the factory. Good inner wings struttops, wings, doors, sills, arches. Will need a couple of repairs on front floors and OSR inner arch. In the main quite a solid old thing and way better than one thats been subjected to 35 British winters. Has had a previous repair on front mount that holds from suspension arm. This is solid but could be tidier. Paintwork is decent . Its not a show winner but its perfectly presentable. It does have the odd mark here and there as you would expect on a 35 year old car.

Mechanics - All standard. Engine starts and runs. Fuel pump relay sometimes sticks so it will need replaced. Engine sounds fine. Gearbox is ok and clutch and brakes work. As with any old car it will need a good checkover from front to back before using it in anger. The car was in regular use prior to export.

Interior - Standard GTE with all the correct seats etc. Driver seat has a tear along the stitching line on the back otherwise rest are ok. One window winder handle missing. Dash is ok, doorcards are ok . Steering wheel has a chunk out of it omn the yop.

Wheels - Aftermarket rims which are quite tidy but not originals.

This is a very rare car and it is genuine. No doubt the keyboard gurus will tell me different..lol. Please fell free to come and see the car. We have a ramp so you can look underneath. delivery can be arranged if required. Please ask for a quote.
