Willys CJ2-A jeep 1946 column change for sale
Current customer rating:
1946 Willys CJ 2-A rare column change jeep, only made for 1 year, 3 owners from new, supplied originally to the US Forestry service, hence the colour. Then purchased for use on a lake house in Minnesota, then sold to the owner of the next door lake house where it stayed until I purchased it, always kept indoors. The body is totally rust free which is almost unheard of for a jeep of this age. Column change works fine, drives absolutely fine. What I have done since I purchased.
new tires, new brake line shoes and hardware, new wheel bearings, new king pin bearings, new Walcks of America period correct cotton braided wiring loom with indicators, new fuel lines.Steering re aligned and serviced, starter motor rebuild, new plug leads, new points, new battery cables, new spark plugs, rebuilt original carburettor, new coil. Everything to make this jeep smooth running and reliable. Please see picture of the bottom of the tool box, heavily pitted but no rust through driver and passenger floors rust free. Any inspection welcome. Jeep has its spare wheel carrier and wheel but I took them off. This jeep is 75 years old and does not drive like a modern car so don't expect it to. Be prepared to tinker with it and repair when it needs it hence no warranty is offered or implied.More pictures on request. No part exchanges, bank transfer or cash only no Pay Pal.Genuine buyers only please no time wasters.
I have deleted 2 pictures and added 2 of the dash as requested, I was already at my limit of 12.
