For sale is our beautiful “Heidi”, a 1966 German built Splitscreen LHD. Purchased in August 2017, it has had 3 previous owners and has a rich history including living on a Swedish air based and being used by the FBI in the USA.

Since being purchased the camper van has undergone a full restoration including body work & a full respray costing over £10,000. There has also been works done to improve the brakes and a new battery.

It was used as a wedding car from 2018 - 2020 approximately 30 times, it has only ever been driven by ourselves as owners.

Interior: Two cream & white bench seats, one in the front and one in the rear which could convert into a bed. Laminate flooring has also been laid.

Engine & transmission: 1600 cc engine, twing webber carbs, original gearbox has been replaced with the usual 1303 Beetle IRS. A recent extensive service carried out included:

New engine mounts

New gearbox mounts

New gear linkage bushes

Plenty of service history, MOTs & receipts available to show history of the campervan.

The camper van has rarely been used over the past two years and has been well protected with a camper van cover and is in good condition. We are selling as we would love to see this camper van used and cherished.
